| Happy Mother's Day to my mom. She passed away over 2 years ago and I miss her terribly every day still. I wish I could talk to her, see her and hug her. I want her back. But not the illness that took her. I love this picture of her, though I didn't know her then, she looks so happy and weird with that hat. I am sure that there is a story here. The thing about mothers is, that you get what you get. Even though she didn't always give me what I wanted, and sometimes was unable to, she was still Mom. Happy Mother's Day, mom. I love you. |

| This duck at L Park started with 9 ducklings a few weeks ago. I have been watching her as the numbers dwindle. Yesterday there were 3. She is doing very very duck best to watch over and guide them, she is a great mama. I just wish I had some duck xanax to give her, she looks so nervous. Happy Mom's day, Mama Mallard. It is hard to raise babies in a dangerous place. |
